Employment Sponsorship

Creating sustainable opportunities for individuals distant from the workplace

CHIP is committed to partnering with Local Employment Groups (LEGs), to support those distant from the workplace into sustained employment.

Our Commitment

To work with and financially support LEGs in the main regions of CHIC’s active members, to secure permanent employment for people who are disadvantaged or distant from the workplace, including:

NEETS

Individuals living with disabilities

Ex-offenders

Modern Day Slavery victims

Homelessness

Older People

Ethnic and Racial Minorities

Ex-armed Forces

‘Since 2018, there have been over 300 apprenticeships created’

“Our partnership has enabled Jericho to offer life changing apprenticeship opportunities in our social enterprises, combined with a holistic programme of wrap around support to young people who would otherwise have struggled to get a break.”

Our Aim

To continue to build existing and new partnerships with Local Employment Groups, to increase the number of individuals CHIP can support each year. In 2022, CHIP established two new partnerships so CHIP now supports individuals in the Midlands, London and Wales. We will continue to provide funding for Level 2 Apprenticeships, in addition to supporting other costs for any additional training that will support individuals into work e.g., CSCS cards.
