Awarding grants to support local projects and communities.
We are excited to be able to offer funding to local community groups and projects, where we can make a real difference to people's lives.
Our community chest fund is open to all local community groups connected to CHIC’s members.
CHIP believes in supporting residents in local communities. We seek to promote, encourage, and support communities by offering funds to local projects with clearly identified objectives.
Who can apply?
There is no specific model required for the projects that we will fund, as long as there is a clear vision for the project that will benefit communities, by having a positive impact, to improve the lives of people within them. There is a section in the CHIP CCG guidance document, that refers to specific eligibility criteria.
How do I apply?
You can apply by downloading the CCG application form from CHIP’s website. Please complete this in line with the CHIP CCG guidance document and CHIP CCG notes for application document.
What can I apply for?
Applications can be made for any amount of funding up to £5,000 per annum.
Before you apply….
- Read the supporting documentation before completing the application form.
- Ensure the project can show long-term social value benefits for the individuals the project will support.
How are the grants awarded?
CHIP’s Trustees will assess all applications, using the scoring matrix on the back of the application form. Refer to the CHIP CCG notes for application document, which provides guidance to ensure you answer all sections of the application form in full.
